It doesn't seem to be an issue with the package, but more likely a
buildd issue. I have requeued the package.

Contrary to what the changelog says, mips and mipsel doesn't default to
gcc-4.6. Please switch them in the next upload.

Hi,
The recent FTBFS of libav on mips surprises me a bit:

it has built on mipsel just fine

more available space in the VG. This should happen later this week.

It should be fixed right now, but it would be nice to have that in
create-chroot.sh as otherwise we might forget next time we create a
chroot or setup a machine.

In conclusion it *seems* that lib64ext2fs-nopic.a can be dropped (but
not libext2fs-nopic.a). In anycase it's possible to make the package
build as before using gcc-multilib [mips mipsel] as a
build-dependency.

the s390 port is being replaced by the s390x port. Architecture with 4GB
memory space can probably live a bit longer though.
So if a new MIPS port is created, I really advise to create a full
64-bit port.

such a port should also have at least one build daemon with an FPU to
build this set of packages.

Hi,
Hi,
We (Cavium, Inc.) are interested in working with one or more people
to create a MIPS 64 port of Debian. As part

This needs a new binutils to work, basically the one from experimental.
We just need to wait for it to be uploaded to sid.

to the
problem, but the compiler did crash with ICE so there's a bug in the
compiler.
The ICE is that cc1plus has been killed due to lack of swap on the
build daemon. Some swap has been added so the package builds fine now.
I am therefore closing the bug.

there should not be that much to

The patch I sent for MIPS also mentions SPARC as it has the same
alignment constraints. That said the patch fixes zero, while SPARC is
using hotspot by default instead. Maybe using zero on SPARC is a
possibility, though it will decrease performances.
