-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA512 For nm.debian.org, at 2023-12-07: I support Ricardo Ribalda Delgado 's request to become a Debian Developer, uploading. I have known Ricardo many years now, we met at a Linux conference over than 13 years ago. Ricardo has been Debian user for years as well and it was about 5 years ago when I first sponsored some packages (yavta and xc3prog) Ricardo was using for his daily work. After that many updates after, Ricardo became DM and maintaining many more packages, such ugrep, virtme, virtme-ng; and he started to help me out releasingb4 and now working on GNU GDB stuff. I consider Ricardo as having sufficient technical competence. I have personally worked with Ricardo Ribalda Delgado (key 9EC3BB66E2FC129A6F90B39556A0D81F9F782DA9) for 5 years, and I know Ricardo Ribalda Delgado can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right now. -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- iQIzBAEBCgAdFiEE6Q8IiVReeMgqnedOryKDqnbirHsFAmVxqfEACgkQryKDqnbi rHsgqhAAsWn7nJKCpZeGXhRy78Xwhn0AupyDzt9Jkn6MWvRoU3ajXZ2Bnwb/Expu GvJgq5kgKVq24yAazFqRWhBDSp14SYicTD1zurNsxF7vu7/sCVFkuzHtbLmZ3jRE yT+9BoOTaBvEZx3xUAhO8urqTh0B8bJEAVvGpncerMy2MPQoj2kMsXKTq3WzopBa stso/qlIh23WQiLIVmuMW2IxcH0UzXgRmAiO7QyyiQJX3RZjOAzFxgnWs0QniB0N AGsI33LsGfw8tWlD8FUBSO4LB7TUjXTZVPaXUEIM71SJfRvjubPw9zfUoa2APQ8X i80P/FQBNw6uyNiNhKVRDHjxyWTPwlWpNRGaKCJ+oAhq4FVRm5EuWWLE0gSljegZ mVDG+F2WygHUCgE8fCD/njmq3jyEv2KUgL87mf01gcYaBZX+AyUHdXbJpEhnTnrn t4404vUA7GkIHAHOSa5QaW2464qFbhjnYVB0kE/3+jeWH3vPD0U7xiSQhj4omiPB NEg0F6STNbj3MWpBTGcw/hjCb1yXUsej3QKLFQZ87CYAQjjTS1QmyeKumM0BMs6I zokmCdHvw/16D/Jznkb+iabdkUk/w3Bh+hy38lN91LYDTRjH2uX/+w5Dj6gpUvIw RX75W8Vc/9jGNLl3cpd3B2yT2vTF2QejhVbPyjeDzOcenRBwSqA= =LhK4 -END PGP SIGNATURE- Hector Oron (via nm.debian.org) For details and to comment, visit https://nm.debian.org/process/1236/ -- https://nm.debian.org/process/1236/

I have worked with Arnaud Rebillout doing a Debian derivative and encouraged him to work on the Docker Debian package circa 2018, his technical skills were excellent managing to deal with all the dependency hell that entagles such a beast, however thanks to him and with onlyjob's support, Docker got in good shape to be released in Buster. His writting skills are also excellent, and he writes very good documentation with his coding work. He tries to understand the standards and always looks for technical excelence. I totally second David on his statement, and I also support Helen Koike's DD application, she has applied since several people, including myself have been telling her that DD is better role for the kind of work she is involved with: * Working on cloud images * DebConf19 organization * Secure Boot Debian enablements I think she needs to start her DD application ASAP and get through the process which takes a while. In the meanwhile, if she needs, DSA will be quite happy to create a guest account for Helen. While doesn't have many bugs recorded on the BTS, she has been patient and pushing really hard to get Secure Boot enabled in Debian and part of that work involve organizing Debian secure boot sprint along with Steve McIntyre and presenting the outcome at [DebConf]. If that's not enough to apply for DD, not sure what else we need to ask for. Surely I believe Helen's interactions with BTS will grow in the near future, as well as packages to maintain. She has expressed her desire to help me co-maintain GDB package in the past, however she has not had the time for that yet. Ming-ting Yao Wei: Advocate
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA512 For nm.debian.org, at : I support Ming-ting Yao Wei <m...@lxde.org>'s request to become Debian Developer, uploading. I have meet Ming-ting Yao Wei, several years ago, 2009, when we had MiniDebConf in Taiwan, since then I have been sharing DebConf experiences with him in Heidelberg and Montreal. I have not directly worked with 'mwei' in technical matters, besides he worked on upstream patch to add Chinese input method to libinput (which I happen to co-maintain). I am confident he is quite able to move around Debian infrastructure in proper way. On the other hand, I have been working with 'mwei' preparing DebConf 18 in Taiwan and he has proved to be a great asset for DebConf organization team taking core tasks in the critical path for DebConf to happen. In the same way I believe 'mwei' will be a great asset for Debian development. I have personally known Ming-ting Yao Wei <m...@lxde.org> (key FED5434845287DF262931489CFBBFCE0B74F1B14) for 9 years time, and I know Ming-ting Yao Wei can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right now. -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- iQIzBAEBCgAdFiEE6Q8IiVReeMgqnedOryKDqnbirHsFAlmmqEIACgkQryKDqnbi rHvV9Q/+K9xjzP7dP4MswrbEjLeTzTxmA9SyDMV//YmQ1K8PTvAis8jKoIzLNaAr Ber0TFouOalM0MHcspFXzm7KXMS//Rwd28ZUxvYpQ+t3CZ+0bfy+NYrXDSzWFPI8 g2LL+ctBIgs5yNPV7dkLsLNLMy/OgsiT+jikc2C67wYDoVXHc0lWjkM1roTqkMyo 4KPoMLIr54Fj1O+DRVz3JZV1VxFwxk2ItGHXYQMBREp5t3VYJpTCPciA7RfY2Fc5 o0g+sIurf2u7Ueh+uZMBK0Lll6D1jPAW7Vl4GKn4tmfgugYEJrlvATPzDkiHdJEh 6SRL7DnBeXcb8tRqYj1ddDVXeyQGiIW9DgeNjHShcdOSLqx636RFrmlQjITiBJHN 4pxzZRSZwEIO2xPJFdNJaFFoIWrUVFoRn45XCkyCeDeO0olkxJtQk3YVBprc2P2S Y8bD2b00a4VaRcxhB17ECqCDch6paprmO/X0EXNlA6O08LIxoi8AeU6rnCOaHjv/ LFqhT4aRpTNh4S2eqf0WSwzNovf19CGBh92zoR/6YjXWyrt42py9AtrXxJtTaH3B VvxYzGT7YFtPI1AZvzV+WhgCeih5+/SBpv0oqnKBqKReW4mwT/Tj+EiAwONS5ZTc nM6JSo7bQSF/gOyNDu2G8XxqADJakyGcQbjpAENjiOn/8Pn7Tg4= =Gjdi -END PGP SIGNATURE----- Hector Oron (via nm.debian.org) For details and to comment, visit https://nm.debian.org/process/279 -- https://nm.debian.org/process/279
Re: Advocacy for Geoff Levand
Hello, 2013/11/16 Wookey via nm woo...@debian.org: I advocate Geoff Levand to become Debian Developer, uploading. I have not had the pleasure to work directly with Geoff, but I have been following his work as main IBM Cell kernel developer and his work on ps3, constantly trying to push fixes into Debian to get d-i work on such platform. Geoff's work has high quality technical standards, but also he is quite fine socially speaking, therefore I believe he can be a great asset for Debian community. Advocacy for Marcin Juszkiewicz
Hello, I advocate Marcin Juszkiewicz to become uploading DM. Advocacy text: My first interaction with Marcin was about making suitable cross toolchains for Debian/Ubuntu buildds. At Debian we decided to wait for multi-arch style for Ubuntu he got his packages into the archive as part of his role in Linaro. Since, then, I've sponsored power debug tools and review work on LAVA, a Linaro test framework for client side. Marcin social and technical talents are up-to Debian standards and he would be a great asset to have in Debian for supporting and maintaining packages. I'll be more than happy if FD is fine with processing his application. regards, -- Hector Oron signature.asc Description: Digital signature

Mostly my contributions have been Xen related but recently I've also made some contributions to Dreamplug support (kernel, flash-kernel, installer). I would like to recommend Ian to become part of Debian community. I had the opportunity to meet him in person during Debconf, which means he is interested to get to know more on the project via social events. I had the opportunity to work with Ian adding new platform to Debian ARM devices, he has proben to be more than competent for the task and really friendly and nice to work with. He clearly understands philosophy, guidelines and policy which drives Debian community, so I personally think Debian can profit from Ian in very different ways (and viceversa). :-) Regards, -- Hector Oron signature.asc Description: Digital signature

I've met Hector in September and confirmed his ID and his keys fingerprint. And I'm happy he'll become a DD now :-) Thanks Holger. I should also have Arne Goetje sign. I used to have lots of signs on my later keys, but in order to improve security I decided to upgrade it, but the downfacts are the lost of signatures that I might get back last time I meet with Debian people. But it should not be a problem, as I only need one DD sign and I have it :-) Kind Regards, -- Héctor Orón Our Sun unleashes tremendous flares expelling hot gas into the Solar System, which one day will disconnect us. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-newmaint-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
