When I logged out and try to shut down the machine from kdm, it works
most of the time.
However, sometimes it doesn't (I haven't yet found a pattern), it only
switches to the console. Pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del then cleanly shuts down
the machine.
Now that 4.7.0 and even 4.7.1 are released, it looks to me that this bug can
be closed.
