the OpenFOAM into Debian.

For the (lib)freefoam* packages I am building I came across some
non-free files in the source. I got some remarks that the non-free files
will have to be removed and the source will have to be re-packed in a
new +dfsg tar file (instead of providing patches in debian/).
As I will have to remove an

Hi,
I am working on an application I'd like to parallellize with MPI. For

use of libglib. It seems that the program crashes when using libglib.
Does anybody have a suggestion how to use properly mpi and libglib?

On Mon,
I do not know if the software is very old, but I fully agree that the
building system it uses is quite strange and looks uncommon to me. The
question is if it is really needed to create a complete new building
system and, if so, which one: Automake, cmake,...? And also, will the

Hi,
I am trying to install the CFD package OpenFoam. Until now, without much
success. Unfortunately the software is in the Debian package repository,
though I found a project on Alioth. The project admin did not respond on
my question about the progress of the packaging the software for Debian.
The packages are lintian clean and are properly build and installed
under a clean system, using pbuilder. I would be glad if someone could
upload these packages for me.
Kind regards,
