These drivers (igb/igbvf) are already enabled in the 3.0.0-1 kernel

like CON__G1 are just typos, as everywhere
around this function names like CON_G1 (with one underscore) are used,
and there is an enum near the top of the file defining them. I'll try
to confirm tonight that removing one underscore fixes the build.

the fix for that went into 6.0.1 release, you should try that. If not,
please tell what it hangs or errors on.

You may end up with console set to /dev/console if detection logic
failed and a fall-through value has been used here:

in
6.0.1 images (I've just verified that netinst image contains
/lib/modules/2.6.32-5-sparc64/kernel/drivers/net/niu.ko
in the nic-modules-2.6.32-5-sparc64-di_1.64+squeeze1_sparc.udeb).

2. Press Back repeatedly until you get to the main installer menu.
3. Start a shell from the menu.
4. Run '/bin/sh -x /usr/lib/finish-install.d/90console' and post the
output somewhere.
I guess this will be sufficient to understand what's going on.

I guess that this might be as simple as console having an unexpected
name.
Well, the console is named /dev/ttyS0 and I don't see any case
my
unofficial installer images, please give the new Squeeze images a go
and report back. As usual, they can be downloaded from:

, this is a known bug: http://bugs.debian.org/602853
To work around it, you have two options: either use unofficial images
which I've built (http://www.wooyd.org/debian/squeeze) or wait until
the upcoming squeeze point release (6.0.1), which should happen within
a week or two.
