this in /usr/doc/..., but don't found anything.
Thanks.

Looking at your chat script and log, I don't think the problem is in the
chatscript. If you look at the log, you'll see:

This is the suspicious part... 1400 baud? in the MS Windows example you
show:

Hello all:
I tried to generate a custom kernel package using kernel-source-2.0.27. The
included documentation asked for invocation of make-kpkg to generate the
package, however I wasn't able to find that program in my system and no
package in Debian 1.2 seems to contain it.
Do I still need
Some hours ago, I sent a reply to this message, but didn't see a copy of it
on the debian mailing list, so I'm resending it. I hope someone can make use

I am experimenting with a script that audits the up-to-dateness of Debian

Hi Martin --
You asked:
Do I still need make-kpkg for generating a kernel package?
Well, not absolutely, but it sure is a handy tool.
If so, where can I find it?
It's in Debian-1.2/binary-all/misc/kernel-package_3.03.deb
You can find out which debian archive file ('.deb' file) contains a
Has anyone gotten Abuse to work on a fresh install of Debian 1.2 ?

Thank you all that answered my questions about syslog repeated
messages.
It really was the news lines in syslog.conf. Just commenting them
worked out the problem.
Thank you again, and happy new year for all!

For a long time past, in the ages of Debian 1.1, there
