I just upgraded and my main user account (mattyt) can't open any image
files, but root can. When I start GIMP as mattyt, I don't get the 'xtns'
file menu but it's there as root.

Now when I boot up from my hard drive everything looks like its going
well until I see the error INIT: cannot execute /etc/init.d/boot.

to boot the other OS (MSDOS in my case) or Linux by default. The first
time I set it to boot Linux by default and found I couldn't get it to

Something strange has happened to my X sessions since upgrading to glibc6
stuf (3.3.1-1). Sometimes whan I finish the session an X process (
FvwmButtons ) remains active and uses about 50% of my cpu time. In order
