resolving dependencies, I believe I downloaded and installed dip. I don't
think it was previously installed. As a result, I can no longer connect to my
ISP. Also, my lan is now broken - I can't ping my

You are probably mounting the drive as `msdos' instead of

I know this is unrelated, but does anyone know how to do the same thing
under other Unices? More specifically SunOS/Solaris?

I have problem sending e-mails from EXMH, but I can receive them succesfully.
It looks like ordinary Mail program works fine (I can both send and receive

tar to make it into one file. Could someone tell me how? I know that tar
-xvf will decompress it, I just don't know how to make one.

...
$cd ..
$ls files.tar.gz
files.tar.gz
$_
zcvf creates a gzipped tar file. c == create.
Make sure you put the new tarball outside of the directory you are
tarring or it will try and include the tar in itself creating a nasty
loop.

I agree with everyone else's statement that BusLogic is Good, but there's
absolutely nothing wrong with Advansys. Advansys maintains the linux
