pregunta si quieres arrancar el xdm automáticamente al iniciar el
ordenador. Así que lo único que hace falta es ejecutar el script
xbaseconfigure (o algo así) que estará en /usr/sbin

1.3.1) me he encontrado un juego llamado acm, un simulador de vuelo. Si
alguien lo utiliza, o mejor dicho juega, le agradecería que me explicase
como configurarlo.

consola se hace con Ctr+Alt+Fn. Las X's suelen ser la primera tecla de función

Es cierto que hay que cambiar el fichero /etc/X11/config (que en mi caso ya
venia bien configurado), y quitar el no de no-xdm-start-server. Pero tambien
hay que configurar un fichero que creo que esta en /usr/X11/lib/Xserver y
configurarlo con el/los

I've just installed scilab_2.2-4.deb from the non-free section of hamm.
But it doesn't seem to be working. I type scilab at the prompt and it
exits without giving any error messages, without poping up any windows or
anything. It just does nothing!
Am I doing something wrong, or is this
Install the package pppconfig or dunc. They both create a connection by
asking simple questions. pppconfig is my preference for a quick and easy
setup.

Have installed a BOCA 56K Internet Modem. When downloading from Win95 i normally
get a speed of 4.5-5.2 Kb/s but with Linux (hamm) only 2.5-3.0 Kb/s.
When running Win95 the RD led is glowing almost all the time.
With Linux the led is often blinking and is black for longer periods 10 sec.

I just picked up a package called KBackup and it uses AFIO. I had never
heard of AFIO until I installed KBackup. I is somewhat like Taper, but a
