En el pc on hi ha el problema hi ha vàries particions.
Jo miraria de fer-ho amb la live del GParted i algun disc extern per
guardar temporalment el contingut de les particions.

Home també tal i com apunta en txeik pots guanyar alguna cosa amb un
aptitude clean, instal·lant el localepurge, deborphan i eliminant els logs
de la instal·lació a /var/log/installer o quelcom semblant.
