I've used setxkbmap -option compose:menu multiple times in XFCE, but for
some reason, something keeps kicking it back over to the same useless
functionality that the menu key has in Windows. What's the real way to
bind compose to the menu key and make it stick?

Hello,
I have a problem with what I believe to be a pcmcia Smart Card Reader.
I'm running Debian version jessie/sid. When I execute the lspcmcia -a
command I get the following output:
Socket 1 Device 0:[-- no driver --](bus ID: 1.0)

Is there some way to tell the debian installer to enable an ssh server during
the installation? I'd like to be able to ssh/slogin/scp to the installation
process so I can retrieve log files and otherwise snoop the process when the
keyboard/mouse are frozen.
This is part of my pursuit of Bug#7

Hi,
I recently upgraded my motherboard to an asus M4A77TD
motherboard with a new CPU.
I am not sure when this problem developed, but it may be related to the above.

There's a good chance it's not your doing. The mailing list archives
suggest a lot of people have had similar ptoblems lately.
My gdm3 failed today.

Since this is a minor issue the chances are very small. Even if the
version in stable has a serious bug or a sec

Hi List,
The other day, I found my debian cannot suspend or poweroff. I use
pm-suspend on my desktop. By looking up pm-suspend.log, I saw it does
suspend the system, but then immediately wake up. The same thing happens
when I issue "s2ram".
