I changed the second line of /etc/X11/Xserver
to allow anybody to ryn the Xserver with the
same result. Which other X files are related
to passwords? Could some other file
need to be edited ?

the install program with the 3 CDs, I don't recall
having had the opportunity to install an X server.
I can only access the internet from the windows side of my system, so

Does anyone have a suggestion for a book with a comprehensive list of
debian linux commands and explanations of what each command dos? I'm
new with liunux, and have just changed to debian from Corel linux. I
have a lot to do so I have to do something to cut down my learning
curve.
