I have been working on building XFree86, though the version on the CD's
I think just before yours.
After some time comsuming experimentation (it's big!) and finding
libraries I did not have -dev versions of (joystick and libz), I
found the following sequence to work for me:

Upon seeing that a set of installation files appeared under hamm I
got curious.
Using the single file version of the base disks and the 14400 versions

pure stable. Should the binaries using libc5 from hamm be safe with
1.3.1?

I have a zip disk and the 1.2 rescue floppy system can see it.
Though you might consider making it a module since it prevents use
of a printer through the same parallel port. I used the debian
stuff to make a new kernel. It worked very nicely. Thank you Debian.

installing debian 1.2 from the April 97 Info Magic LDR so here
are details. This is my first attempt to provid help on the
