 What exactly is your question, then? I don't really see a problem in the output you posted. If you don't agree with apt-get about which packages should be removed, just install them at the same time you install the package you want (and don't already have). D'oh! After I edited my post

Question is: Is this due to Testing-transition problems with banshee or is it worse? I got used to those problems and generally I stay calm but because of the specific situation (remember: used synaptic the first time) I became more nervous. So I am asking this just to make sure nothing
