I want to set up an IMAP server with SSL-capability, i.e. I want to be
able to trans mit mails securely.
Use sslwrap. It wraps in SSL imap, pop3, telnet, http, ftp, ...
For some services there are better options, but for mail reading
it works fine.

If PAM is supported, then NIS should be supported via the pam_unix.so
PAM module.
In my experience, PAM + NIS authentication works fine which is
probably sufficient for Cyrus IMAP/POP. However, password changing
doesn't work as expected.

I have two identical NIC's the both came up fine before reboot. Now
ifup eth0 works fine. ifup eth1 says no such interface. cat /proc/pci
shows both nics.
