Hi everyone, Thanks for the replies. I did change the theme to a GTK3 theme (I was tired of clearlooks anyway) and now everything seems back to normal. The last bug I can see is that gnome-terminal don't use the configured monospace font. Is this a known bug, should I report it ? regards,

Strange GTK theme behavior
