Mouse highlights like clicking when I don't click in KDE file manager. So if I'm just moving my mouse without pressing any button, it highlights the last rolled over filename. This is bad in that I click on a file to delete and then roll off konqueror window to click delete. The file I clicked

My fetchmail seems wedged. Usually this is cause by somebody faking a domain and spamming. Does anybody know how to flush this email or get my fetchmail to fetch it? Smail is my MTA (mail transport agent). I recall it is the thing that flag the spam and plugs up fetchmail. Any ideas?

I did an upgrade and used the maintainer's scripts rather than my own. Now with I use kmenu to logout and then select Turn off computer in the popup window, it shuts down the computer but leaves the fan and video card on. I have to turn it off at the power switch. I really want to have it

I would like to get Debian to recognize my pictures on from my camera which uses compact flash. From a posting by dances with crows: USB Mass Storage devices are seen as SCSI disks. Unless you have any real SCSI disks or any other USB storage devices, your CF reader will be seen as /dev/sda.

I found some documentation at: http://www.cups.org/documentation.php It seems cups can print postscript, even if your personal printer can't, but there are not examples of how to set it up. Still haven't gotten netscape to print, but got Konqueror to quit chopping off the top, sides, and bottom
