Ou tenter d'installer la version testing ou unstable de libgtk-x11, ou
passer à une Debian Testing, ou, plus simplement, passer à KDE pour un
temps.

aptitude install epiphany-browser
(if my memory doesn't fail, it will warn you about the fact that
