I installed X windows 4.0.1 and all the packages (including debconf).
I got no dependency errors(I downloaded ALL files for X from the website).
The config program never ran. I've even tried reistalling and
dpkg-reconfigure. XF86Setup and XF86Config do not exist. This is a fresh
install of
for
something along the lines of the MS speech SDK stuff.

here are the erros I get when I am compiling my
kernel.

then it stops and the zImage is not
created.
now I am running kernel 2.0.34

I have a turtle beach montego sound card. Can it
work under linux? If so what driver do i use? I have a dual boot macine and by
the time you read this Hope fully I will have kernel 2.2.3
installed(hopefully reiterated)!!

Why will linux only recognize half of my 128 meg
of ram? It reads my swap space fine but when I look in dmesg It says it only
found 64 megs RAM.
