If you mean /etc/ppp/ip-up.d/exim, I have got that already, but only

Hi Patrick
Have a look at www.knopper.net/knoppix
Knoppix is a Debian/Sid based sytem-on-a-bootable-CD.
I'm not sure if you can customize what is installed, but very likely you
can use it out of the box for any task you can imagine...

Hi list
This may sound strange, but is there an equivalent for loadlin, so that I can
start windows from my running linux system, just like loadlin can do for
starting linux from windows?
The reason I'd like to have it is the following: I have an old

Hi list

The problem is: I get connected (using pon), but somehow the name resolution

Since I don't need the rtc, I just turn it off. Edit the file
/etc/modutils/arch/i386 and replace the line:
alias char-major-10-135 rtc
with
alias char-major-10-135 off
and then run update-modules.
Very Nice

It can be fixed by compiling the kernel with the appropriate module. If
the message mentions char-major-10-135, it's looking for rtc.o (real
time clock). When a kernel compiled with rtc as a module, then booted,
the error would go away.
