What do you get with $ cdrecord -scanbus -dev=ATAPI then you can use -dev=ATAPI:0,0,0 or -dev=ATAPI:0,1,0 etc. with cdrecord depending upong which drive you want to use for writing. other reply went as new message. Posting is a mess when using yahoo mail :(
