You may want to try dpkg-reconfigure base-config for a *complete*
configuration, though I wouldn't recommend it, as you can configure
stuff as and when you apt-get them or something...

I disagree.
How about this: write a procmail recipe to add a Reply-To header for
all mails from debian-user.
That would do the trick without hurting list settings.

Restart exim4.
Done. Didn't take me more than 5 minutes. I'd advice you to try it out.

You can move S19exim4 (or S??exim4, where ?? are two numbers) to
K00exim4 in /etc/rc2.d/, or in all other /etc/rc?.d's, for that
matter.

Now, fetchmail calls procmail directly, instead of using an MTA, and
you can completely bypass the MTA part.

The Bitstreat Vera fonts work pretty well in all graphical
applications, but I am not able to get it on my konsole or XTerm. In
Konsole, it displays the sampkle in the selection dialog box, but I am
not able to get it on the screen.
