Hi there,
I'm having problems on getting my pcmcia card to work on Debian.
Already compiled RTL8139 as module from kernel and installed pcmcia-cs
tarball.
In my opinion, problem is from rtl8139 module:
$ insmod rtl8139
/lib/modules/2.2.14/net/rtl8139.o: init_module: Device or resource

Hi,
Where could I find a program which could convert PC bitmap data,
Windows 3.x format to PBM format !?
As I had hundreds os images on BMP I would like a program where I
could make a script to convert them automatically.
Kind of:
$ bmp2pbm filename
Thanks.

Hi,
Using strobe I can check that i'm using the sunrpc service:
sunrpc 111/tcp portmapper# RPC 4.0 portmapper TCP
I don't need it and don't know how to remove it!
I already commented all the lines referring to it on /etc/inetd.conf
and even also removed all daemons.
On Tue, 30 Nov 1999, Evan Moore wrote:

if the daemons are not running, then you shouldn't have to worry about
someone using the r commands to break in to your system so this
shouldn't really be required.
I've commented those lines and it was still listening
on dragging windows but it's better than nothing.
