and just listed in different folders within the account.
Is there a way for this to be disabled and subsequently have
messages be displayed in their specific folders...or is this just how
Gmail works?

My experience is with Suse (all numbers) and FreeBSD (all numbers).
Wind$ws doesn't count! And, for that matter, Mac doesn't count.
Out of curiosity why don't Windows and Mac count?

ago. Switching from GNOME (on tty7) to tty2 and then back to tt7 again
gave me the same blank screen with no signal problem. I found by
switching around to different ttys that my usual F7 session had
mysteriously moved to tty8.
I went back to using Stable on this machine.
