I liket the elegance-colors theme for gnome and as far as I know it it's not
avaible for debian,
So i try to compile it myself.
But it has three dependencies which I cannot find the appropiate name in Debian.

Can anyone tell me what the names in Debian ar

I have used this one to download and install Sarge.

I'm now trying to make my custom kernel.
There i get the error messag that something can't be found.
Which command can tell me which package i have to install to make everything
good.
I know that in Suse the command was pin but apt-get couldn't find it.

I work now with woody with a 2.2 kernel and Gnome 1.4.
How can I upgrade my system so i can work with 2.6 and Gnome 2.4.
Is this with Sarge ??

I used three different floppy's and i used
rawrite2.
I tried the floppy-based netinstall but i will now
try the cd-based netinstall

I have downloaded the bootdisk from the dutch ftp-site. After that i put
them on disk.
No problem so far. I put the rescue disk in my floppy-drive and reboot the
computer.
After that I see a welcome and then several times the message "unknown
