Hi All,
I am having problems running java. In fact it is anything to do with
java. Whenever I type java I get this:
/usr/lib/jdk1.1/bin/../bin/i586/green_threads/java: error in loading
shared libraries:
/usr/lib/jdk1.1/bin/../lib/i586/green_threads/libjava.so: undefined

There actually is some support for some parallel port scanners. For

Hi All.
I have a problem with sound. I can't play any sounds. I have tried using
rplay and nmaker, both the same results. The annoying thing is that I
can play CDs with no probs!!! I am a member of the group audio and
sounds are compiled into the kernel.
Any ideas? Anything that I could try?

I run the command below, and this is the output!

I had the wmss running, but then I killed it, is there a way to get around
this problem?
Thanks,

Hello,
Did you compile support for your sound card (you need to confiugre and
compile a custom kernel to get sound support for your particular card).

apologize for bringing it up again.
I had a similar problem, and it has to do with dselect not downloading the
necessary .deb's first. I have heard that apt fixes this, but I am not sure.
