was plugged to the hub, and dmesg has shown manufacturer of device, so I
believe device is detected properly, it's just MTP that does not work.

Yes, this is normal, new 8.7 point release is out, site is slower to update
info then mailing list. If you wish to stay more up to date, I recommend to

How can i globally map to work as ? It is default in
rxvt-unicode and vimperator, but i want it to work this way with any X
application. I tried xbindkey with 'xdotool key Return', but it is too
slow - about 1 sec delay, useless.

The problem was because of the 'colormake' (was aliased to 'make'). With
pure make 3.81-7 it work perfect.
It is rather strange, i thought colormake is just a wrapper that colorize
output of stdout and doesn't work while ncurses interface is active. Beware of

when ESD is enabled Java applications have no sound and vice versa. Does

and apps won't work. Use plasmoids or Plasma themes ;)
kdelibs4-dev needs Arts (libarts1-dev), but in KDE 4 Arts is replaced by

I want to set up my Debian to work with two ip addresses on different
networks with one ethernet card.
Asuming two different physical networks 192.168.0.0 and 192.168.1.0 :
# insmod ip_alias.o
# ifconfig eth0 192.168.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0
# ifconfig eth0:0 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.
d with linux libc 5, and if you want to re-compile it,
you'll have a hard time with some of them. Packages in hamm (those
which are not just symlinks to the same package on bo) are linked with
libc6.
