=250. Qemu might not be able to
open /dev/kqemu (which has a major of 250) with that.
i happened to have the same sid-kqemu problem. david's hint did work
for me.

digikam (which started working only recently for me (i'm a sid boy
now)) is a very nice, comfortable gui tool. you may want to try this
first.
