Anyone care to recommend SATA RAID controllers?
I'd like to setup a relatively inexpensive box with hardware RAID 1. The
system will use Sarge. I was wondering if anyone had hardware suggestions.

Debian box and it was setup so that there was an icon there that allowed
it to manage users. We added a webmin module and then it messed up
webmin so we had to remove and reinstall ... now there's nothing in

putting 'append=apm=on' in the right place. I put it above the where it
describes the kernel and it now works fine!

I just tried to upgrade a Potato installation to Woody. A lot of things went
wrong (details at the end of the message) but the main problem now is that X
doesn't work. At one point in time while doing apt-get dist-upgrade the
installer strongly suggested installing xserver-xfree86 instead of

me choose the mach64 server. This didn't help. I also tried the vga16
server. That didn't help, either.
