a thorough
analysis of the differences between the two, but they both seem to have a
fair number of features. could anyone who has already spent the time
looking at the differences summarise them
thanks

Hi all. I got a question about security.

It sounds like the real solution is to not add your static IP to eth0. Does
it really
need to be? What network is on eth0? What's the regular IP on eth0? What IP
removes it, then eth0:1
comes back.
i am just guessing (about to try) tacking eth0 down and adding eth0 again
rather than bringing it up.
whats the correct command to remove eth0:1 without removing eth0
thanks

I tried linuxconf from potato and it completely screwed up my dns
settings. I think manually editing the files is a little more reliable

Was wondering if there was still the mlddcs package around, and if there is
a good howto somewhere on setting up pon with mldcc. Thanks
