Hi,
Some programs compiled/linked with ncurses/readline libs
seem to have troubles running under Emacs.
Do you have troubles when, for example, running bash
(ncurses'd & readline'd), zsh (ncurses'd) under Emacs?
Does anyone know how to cope with this?
Using Debain 1.2, Emacs 19.34.
thanks

Hi,
When I 'C-h v' for variables, or 'C-h f' for functions, etc.
I often get 'Invalid format operation %l'.
Do you know what happened?
Using Debian 1.2, Emacs 19.34

Hi,
Do you know any easy way to change the cursor size
in text mode?
It is often that I don't know where the cursor has
gone after doing a search in a editor.
It's easy to achieve it in DOS by calling 'INT 10'.
thanks

Hi,
What's the directory '/etc/emacs/site-start.d' for?
When I installed 'calc', I found that the 'calc autoloads'
file '50calc.el' is in '/etc/emacs/site-start.d/';
but emacs doesn't seem to automatically load it.
'/etc/emacs/site-start.d/50calc.el'
looks like those file such as

Hi,
When groff formats a man page file like 'bash.1',
the formatted main text will be centered.
Do you know how to change this so I can wrap the text
at a certain column (e.g. at column 75).
Centered text is good for eyes to view on a monitor
because there are more space left around.
