when you want to enable it again, do a update-rc.d service-name defaults?

and you're not printing to a remote (network) printer using this
protocol (SMB/Windows printers are handled by Samba/whatever), you can
probably remove the lpr debian package.

This permissions approach is nice, but startx only calls xinit with the
correct args... I guess a user could still start X by typing xinit instead
(with all the args included)...
Maybe changing xinit's permissions to 700 would do it?

it sure didn't take all afternoon, but the fun did. My current
/bin/false is a compiled ELF file, and I don't really know if it's mine or
Potato's (it's been a long time).
Potato's /bin/false has a378dbf982c7694b173cd87ecc8463f1 md5sum.
