Yes, Curt, It is similar indeed. Also, by the solution they figured out, (editing Theme=/usr/share/apps/kdm/themes/oxygen-air) I can see that it is using "kdm" instead of sddm. That is the root of the problem. A proper solution is just what I said in the previous email: install sddm as your default and remove old kdm. Thanks!
