log rotation package?

Hi people, Is there a .deb log rotation package? You know what I mean, just something to swap out the logs in /var/.. every week and rename them *.1, *.2, .. up to the number of weeks you want to keep them. This has been on my mind for quite some time, because I've been thinking that it's just
