Hi folks Stevens' books are first rate. Not a cull in the lot. Dont alwasy ahve all the details I want though. While it is NOT beginning Linux programming, the book by Eric Troan and Michael Johnsons, Linux Application Development from Addison Wesley Longman deserves a look. AWL usually has lot
