I think you said earlier that the CD-R was on hda? And that it worked?

HP cd16ri CD recorder installed in machines with Aadaptec SCSI host card,
each has exactly on device on the SCSI bus. Both are Debian potato +

Hello!
I've got a problem with my Philips CDD4201 cd-recorder. It's a ATAPI
device, I installed it with the SCSI driver, like described in
README.ATAPI from cdrecord. I've got no problem with burning CDs. But if
I mount the device for read (mount /dev/scd0 /cdrom), everything lo

x27;t work, try as root, are you a member of the group that owns
/dev/sr0? Have you logged out and back in since becoming a member of the
group? If it works as root, you have permission problems, if not, post
again, and I will try and suggest other things.

I have a CD recorder (Philips 2x2x6) and when I try
to write a CD with
cdwrite -v -D /dev/sr0 cdimage.raw
I get
cdwrite 2.0
Track 01: data7 Mb

At boot the CD recorder is detected:

Trying adding the boot parameter "max_scsi_luns=1". If you're booting from LILO
you can add the line to your image section:
append = "max_scsi_luns=n"
Or just to get booting you can hit Scroll-Lock when "LILO" appears and then you
can type the parameter on the lilo boot line. Note that you'll nee

Thanks!
