What is unstable about tetex? I am just about to upgrade to Hamm but
I tried to install tetex today but one package (I think it was
tetex-base) still had the wrong version-number :(
Anyone working on this?

It is stuck in Incoming. Get the latest tetex-* packages from:
http://llug.sep.bnl.gov/debian/Incoming
