Raspberry Pi advertises itself as Debian and I hadn't noticed that
the sources.list only has raspberrypi,com in it. It was designed as a
children's teaching aid which probably explains the auto update.

apt-get update; apt-get upgrade
apt update && apt -y full-upgrade
apt-get reinstall firefox
None of these restores firefox's black menus
