I also have serious trouble with Netscape 4.5 (from ftp.netscape.com, only
version available for Linux). I run the kernel 2.0.34
First try installing the xlib6 and xpm4.7

What version of Netscape are you running? Is it the glibc version or the
libc5 version? Mine is the glibc version of
