FWIW, I've always used ne2k-pci for this card, and haven't upgraded to
2.2. Using the old drivers for an old kernel doesn't seem necessary to
me, but I guess wtopa's mileage varied.
Give ne2k-pci a go first...

I have two servers with Realtek 8029-based PCI cards which work fine.
I use the ne2k-pci module (in 2.0.34 or better). It works fine. One

Hrm. Isn't that one NE2000-compatible? There's one floating around
somewhere at my house, but I'm at work and can't check...
Try using ne2k-pci as your network driver module. I have

Try NE2000 PCI. That is how I am using it on my system.

It's an NE2000 clone and is supported since (I think) 2.0.34 and I used
the ISA ne2k driver successfully before that.
CONFIG_NE2K_PCI=y
Bob
Bob Nielsen
I have one of these (Genius I think) and I use the ne2k-pci module...

Go to Don Becker's page:
http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/drivers/
and download the driver. It's supported, according to this page. Note
that I've not tried it.

When I am unsure I compile all the ethernet drivers in and see if any succeed.
Sometimes this works, other times I have to play more.
