I'm having a hard time with telnet on my debian woody box. Network is fine,
I can SSh to the box but I have a need to be able to turn on telnet when
necessary. I can't get it to work to save me. I use xinetd, and I have
telnet configured in it's .conf as follows:

I am no xinetd guru, but if I were to guess I'd say there's
something wrong with the user=nobody line. If the telnet

ich finde unter /var/log keine Ein tragungen bzw
neue Eintragungen wenn ich den Rechner kontaktiere. Um Fehler Festzustellen wäre
dies jedoch sinnvoll. Weis zemand wie ich dazu komme?

- deine Zeilen sind zu lang ( 72 Zeichen)
- du verschickst html-mails
- du verwendest keinen Real-Namen als Absender
- deine komische angeforderte Empfangsbestätigung interessiert hier eh

El simptomes més evidents són que en lloc d'una 'ñ' em posa una 'q' i

Pus as de memoria, prueba a instalar el telnetd, apt-get install
telnetd. Esto ya instalaria el servidor y meteria una linea en el
/etc/inetd.conf para proporcionar el servicio de telnet a traves de inetd.
De todas formas en plan seguridad recomiendan no tener instalado este
servicio pero si esta

Ich habe hier seit über 2 Jahren (!) ein Problem, dass ich dann doch
jetzt so langsam gerne lösen würde.
Dieser 3com Router läßt sich über telnet konfigurieren. Das
funktioniert auch wunderbar von Windows, OpenServer und UnixWare, aber
leider nicht von Linux aus. Ein telnet router ergibt
