True Type font server gives me weird default font

I thought I had configured the true-type font server a few weeks ago, but now I restarted X and all applications for which I don't specify a font are presented in a huge ugly font. The output of xlsfont suggests that ttf are installed and visible. Anyone know what I'm talking about? How to fix

Ya, I ran into this also. I believe I fixed it by uninstalling xfs and re-installing it. I'm not really sure what causes it or why what I did fixed it. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling and re-installing the xfs anf xfstt packages. Wish I could be more helpful, but I kinda stumbled
