I just upgraded to wmaker 0.80.0-4 and libpng3 was installed as
a dependency. Now it seems that the png icons in my wmaker dock
cannot be displayed anymore. It seems like a catch 22 to me: if
I remove libpng3 wmaker complains and if I remove libpng2 then
21 other installed packages complain

Ok, so now I'm having problems with my ISP's mail server, so forgive me
if this gets posted twice. Anyway, I found out what the problem was.
It was a bum cpp package in sid. Oops. A simpe apt-get update/upgrade
fixed it. I guess that is what I get for running unstable :-(

After installing both xdm and wmaker under 'unstable' I have some

The best way ist to use the debian menu system. You create _one_ menu entry and
it is then added to the menus of all wmgrs you are running. See
/usr/share/doc/menu.

something (did you read the docs?). To get 3dfx support you need to give
arguments to ./configure... read the docs, but I think that it's only for the
old glide stuff or the framebuffer

I'have xdm and severar Window Managers installed,
how can I make Wmaker the "default" Window Manager
at startup, now it is icewm,
I want to keep my other Window Managers as well
and an easy way switchin
