Wish To try Debian using DiD

Hi, I am a would be convert to the linux fraternity and would like to try my hand at debian. Would you tell me precisely which directory/ies and file I have to down load using ftp to get DiD- Drop in Debian. Also I would appreciate any relevant documentation regarding the same. Regards.
