I'm wondering if anyone else has observed this behavior ...
I'm running slimp3 and playing the stream on xmms. XMMS seems to be
flakey about updating the playlist display, which slimp3 updates to be

decided to play around with plug-ins so I did a
apt-get install `apt-cache search xmms plugin | cut -f1 --delimiter=\
|sed s#smpeg-xmms##` to get all the plugin packages. I did the sed
