i think i found a bug in apache 1.1.1-[56]. when upgrading from 1.0.5 to 1.1.1 /usr/lib/httpd is created with the wrong owner:
drwxr-x--- 4 root root 1024 Oct 5 18:10 httpd/ as a consequence the httpd server cannot read any of the subdirectories (cgi-bin, icons). shouldn't /usr/lib/httpd be owned by www-data.www-data? i've changed the ownership of the directory and the cgi-scripts work again. --alex-- -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
