I'm finding that if I reboot, go into DOS, and then reboot to Debian I've lost my date and time settings. This isn't a battery problem because it's a laptop which is continuously plugged in; I can put it to sleep and wake it up without problems. I think something is writing to the hardware clock

does the bios reflect the accurate date? i got a similar prob on my servers but im 2000 miles away from em so i just use NTP to update when they bootup. i try to make sure the bios has the right date whenever possible. nate [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ]--
