hi all- i'm trying to set up the internal modem on a Winbook laptop. it's configured to be on COM2 under the BIOS. as described by the Serial HOWTO, i'm using kermit to test the modem, and this is the result:
[/home/alsu] C-Kermit>set line /dev/ttyS1 Sorry, can't open connection: /dev/ttyS1 my suspicion is that this is a winmodem...is this the expected behavior of kermit on a winmodem? thanks... -alan
