Does anyone know what speed cdrom's are supported? I have an A3000 with 132MB of memory that I'm trying to install with v3r1. I get partially through the installation program when I have a 2x SCSI cdrom attached, but then it hangs because the apparently it can't read the cd anymore :-( I moved

I found a high quality picture of the Nexus at http://www.amiga-hardware.com/nexus_big.jpg. It has several PALs on it which's programming won't be easy to figure out. However there is a bigger IC made by AMD on it, which reads as "AM5380PC". The manual (yeah! I kept it all these years...)

Clyde was just trying to help you, you need to be more patient and read more carefully. On most install cds, the distribution path is: /debian/dists/stable If it is not there your on your own. I would suggest exploring the cd and writing down the path when you've found it, then go back to

Scsi devices would be named /dev/sda, /dev/sdb, etc. On your system you would need to know how many scsi devices are installed on your scsi controller (I believe your machine is likely to only have one scsi controller, but I could be wrong.)
