What does dmesg tell you? Is the drive really detected on /dev/scd0?
yes, it's working now. I forgot to compile the scsi cd support into
the kernel.

I'am using a vanilla kernel and I'am trying to mount a cd with:
mount -t iso9660 /dev/scd0 /mnt
but I receive the error message:
